Who We Are

At Insight Rehabilitation we work with you, the client and family, to determine your needs and goals. We provide assessment and treatment of all speech, language, cognitive communication and social issues for clients of all ages.

Our Team

The director and founder of Insight Rehabilitation, has over 25 years of clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with client’s and their families in acute, rehabilitation, home, school and community settings. She is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).


Alana is a progressive Speech Language Pathologist who recognizes the need to work as a team to achieve the best results for the client and family. She is a kind, caring and compassionate therapist who puts her clients first. She is highly sought by insurance companies, therapists and private clients as a catalyst for improvement. 


Alana continues to contribute greatly to the overall profession of Speech-Language Pathology as demonstrated by her active involvement in advocating for our clients and the profession. She is a mentor and leader to new clinicians. Her skill set goes beyond that of a Speech Language Pathologist, educator collaborator and innovator.


Alana’s greatest accomplishment has been raising her two boys!

Jessica is a Speech-Language Pathologist who is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASPLO). She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA), and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).


Jessica completed her Master of Clinical Science (M.Cl.Sc.) degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Western Ontario, and her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology at Algoma University. 


Jessica has experience providing intervention to both pediatric and adult populations with articulation, motor speech, fluency, developmental language, social communication, cognitive communication, and acquired language disorders. She is trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Level 1 and Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) and is currently enrolled in SAC’s provisional certification program with a professional interest in acquired communication disorders, speech, language and literacy development, voice, and resonance. Jessica is a professional, dedicated, and enthusiastic clinician who strives to provide functional and evidence-based care to the clients and families that she works with.

  • How do I set up services?

    Email us at insightrehab.slp@gmail.com or call 705-253-2354 to request service.

  • How much do services cost?

    Private services may be covered by MVA, EHC, OAP funding, Jordan's Principle funding and more. 

    Call to find out what you might be eligible for!

  • Do you take third party insurance?

    We do not accept third party insurance; however, we will provide an invoice that you can submit for coverage.

  • Do you work with Jordan's Principal?

    Yes, we do! If required, we will help you with the application.

  • Do I need a Dr.'s referral?

    Most services do not require a referral; however, it depends on the nature the service required. Please contact us so that we can better determine your needs.
